Z-Merge plugin framework
The Z-Merge plugin system allows developers to add functionality to the Zarafa Webaccess, while not requiring them to modify existing system files inside the core of the Zarafa WebAccess software.
As with most plugin systems, the new plugin system offers the following capabilities:
- A method of registering and managing plugins
- An extensible method of communicating with the webaccess framework
- A framework that keeps plugins compatible over different versions
The plugin framework itself does not add any functionality that changes the way that modules are programmed in the Webaccess; it only changes the way that these modules communicate with the rest of the system.
